TOGETHER AGAINST THE FAR RIGHT - ON THE BIGGEST MULTICULTURAL MARCH IN BRITISH HISTORY

Saturday, March 28th, in London

This Saturday is likely to see the biggest multi cultural march in British history when trade unionists, community organisations, faith groups and individuals come together to say No to the far right and fascism.

Ten coaches from across Greater Manchester will be going to London with many other people travelling by train or using their own transport.

Salford Mayor Paul Dennett believes TOGETHER can build solidarity between different groups and organisations to mobilise effectively against the "extremely troubling rise of the far-right."

"I encourage everyone to get involved in supporting the TOGETHER Alliance, in building unity and solidarity in their local communities in Salford, and where possible joining the national demonstration in London on 28th March," the Mayor added.

Local signatories to the petition include Maxine Peake, Christopher Eccleston, Steve Coogan, The Charlatans and Rebecca Long Bailey MP.

Andy Burnham, Greater Manchester Mayor, and Hannah Spencer, newly elected MP for Gorton & Denton, will be speaking along with a host of bands, celebrities and trade unions.

Hannah Spencer MP says: “I’m tired of politicians blaming everyone else for their mistakes. I'm tired of minorities being scapegoated.

"Us coming together, working together and sticking together is the only way we can bring about change and hope in the current political landscape."

We believe people will look back on 28th March as a turning point.

Will it be just another Saturday that passed you by - or will you be making history on the streets of London, marching for Unity with hundreds of thousands of people from every corner of the UK?

This isn't just a walk. It is a chance to shape our country’s identity and our story.

It's still possible to book through TOGETHER Alliance's page.
